Ncounters: Living in a World of Sound and Noise

Ncounters: Living in a World of Sound and Noise saw 21 presenters reprenting 8 institutions in 3 different countries, as well as our distinguished guest speaker Martha Bayles from Boston College. The event took place between March 5-7, 2010 at the University of Alberta. Presentations ranged from 19th century theory and politics to filmic analyses, skittles and opera, and avant-garde improvsation. See below for more details.
